Mudra Ashtanga

Mudra Ashtanga is a term that refers to the eight different practices or components of Hatha Yoga that involve hand gestures, also known as mudras. These eight practices are believed to help the practitioner achieve physical, mental, and spiritual balance.

Ashtanga Vinyasa

Ashtanga Vinyasa is a style of yoga that was developed by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in the 20th century. It is a physically demanding practice that consists of a set sequence of postures, or asanas, which are linked together with breath and movement, known as vinyasa.

Aerial

"Aerial" is an adjective that refers to something that is related to the air or atmosphere, or something that is located or done in the air. It can also refer to a type of photography or imaging that is taken from an elevated position, such as from an airplane or a drone.

Kids Yoga

Yoga and mindfulness have been shown to improve both physical and mental health in school-age children (ages 6 to 12). Yoga improves balance, strength, endurance, and aerobic capacity in children. Yoga and mindfulness offer psychological benefits for children as well.

Props Yoga

Yoga props help our rigid bodies find more ease and stillness in a new pose. They make poses that would otherwise be inaccessible achievable to injured, tight, or unstretched bodies. Use props to help understand the pose and allow your body to slowly increase flexibility and improve in strength.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha yoga can be considered an umbrella term to describe many of the most common forms of yoga taught in the West today. With this type of yoga, you move your body slowly and deliberately into different poses that challenge your strength and flexibility, while at the same time focusing on relaxation and mindfulness.

Body Alignment

Alignment refers to how the head, shoulders, spine, hips, knees and ankles relate and line up with each other. Proper alignment of the body puts less stress on the spine and helps you have good posture. To keep proper alignment, avoid the following positions or movements: Having a slumped, head-forward posture.

Prenatal Yoga

Much like other types of childbirth-preparation classes, prenatal yoga is a multifaceted approach to exercise that encourages stretching, mental centering and focused breathing. Postnatal Yoga

Postpartum yoga is a modified, low-intensity yoga practice. A lot of changes happen to your body after childbirth. This type of yoga is designed to help your body recover. Postpartum yoga offers the most benefits during the first three months after childbirth.

Therapy Yoga

Therapy yoga is a form of yoga that combines physical postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation practices to promote mental and physical health. It is often used as a complementary therapy for a variety of health conditions, including anxiety.

Aerobic Exercise

Listen to pronunciation. Physical activity that increases the heart rate and the body's use of oxygen. Also called aerobic exercise, endurance exercise includes activities that increase your breathing and heart rate such as walking, jogging, swimming, biking and jumping rope.
